2000 National Sea View

$21,000   -   56,700 Miles

After 6 years of great memories, we have decided to sell our 2000 National Sea View 35’ RV. It is in great condition inside and out and we’ve always taken great care of it. Obviously, a few minor outside blemishes due to its age. It has been stored indoors during all the winters we’ve had it. It’s a very comfortable drive, the steering is tight, it shifts smoothly and the engine is strong. We’ve never had a single issue with it.

All typical servicing was done at Mater’s in Alexandria.

I’d be happy to share the history of it before we bought it so please ask and I’ll give you all the details when we talk.

The mileage varies but if you are driving around the Raystown area with all the hills and winding roads, you’ll get about 7.5 mpg but on the highway it’s closer to 10 mpg. It’s inspected until the end of July. We always had Hess’s garage in MacTown do the inspection which was approx. $35.

The inside is beautiful and in great shape. It has solid oak cabinets, Corian countertops and a carpeted ceiling which provides a truly warm and inviting feeling. Also, it’s amazing how much room you have with the 32” slide out open.

It will sleep 5 adults comfortably. 2 on the queen bed, one on the table bed and 2 on the sofa bed.

We’re selling it because we bought a lake house last year up on Piney Ridge and feel we should just focus our summer on that. Plus, our daughter starts kindergarten in August so rather than camping this summer we are planning a long beach trip and taking her on some weekend adventures to area amusement parks and doing the hotel/Airbnb thing.

I pulled it from storage on 4/2 and we spent the last few days deep cleaning inside and out so all you need to do is pack up and go.

Should you decide to store it indoors during the wintertime and you live around the area, I can put you in touch with a really nice guy with reasonable prices in James Creek.

Also, I would be happy to assist if you need any help on winterizing it this upcoming fall.

There are 3 minor issues:
Unfortunately, the refrigerator isn’t working. Last fall we were getting ready to go camping and everything was fine. I was only plugged into a 110 outlet and I accidentally tripped the breaker by running the ac and the microwave at the same time. When we got to the lake we noticed the fridge stopped running so not sure if that had anything to do with it. I’m including a portable fridge so you wouldn’t have to get this fix immediately.

The generator only has 1005 hours on it but last summer it was acting up. We had Berrena’s in Huntingdon look at it and they had it running for about 2 hours straight so we thought everything was good. I started it and it ran for about 2 minutes then turned off so not sure what’s up with that.

One of the jacks doesn’t seat all the way up without help.
